For the price we paid, the rooms were surprisingly good. They were clean and located in a peaceful courtyard at the back. It was quiet at night, allowing for a good night's sleep. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing useful information about getting around. the location was excellent, with the San Miguel Church close by and a small bus station for trips to Managua within walking distance. the breakfast consisted of unlimited coffee, two tasty pancakes, and a banana. When I asked for more pancakes, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a second helping at no extra cost.
The bathroom was disappointing. It was small and not clean, with a sink that didn't work properly and a dirty shower curtain.

The free breakfasts were a great bonus, and I felt secure with the locked gate and security cameras. The staff was friendly and helped me with tour coordination. The property was nice and tranquil, with a good location not too far from the plaza and market. The staff were lovely and always smiling, providing helpful recommendations for the area. The room was spacious with big beds and a desk to put your things on. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was excellent.
There were some downsides to my stay. it would have been helpful if the staff had recommended a taxi for visiting the nearby volcano, as the one I hailed ended up ripping me off.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with nice artwork. The location was convenient, with easy access to the bus station and markets.- One of the best aspects was the friendly and helpful staff.
The kitchen could have been better equipped, making it a bit difficult to cook if more people wanted to use it. There was some noise from a neighboring building on one of the nights.

I recently stayed at Hostal Casa San Miguel for 3 nights while exploring the area. Cesar and his family were incredibly attentive and made sure everything was clean and well-maintained. Cesar even went above and beyond by assisting us with transportation and providing delicious pancakes and fruits for breakfast. The hostel felt safe with locked gates and security cameras, and the peaceful outdoor green space was a great place to relax. Additionally, the staff helped coordinate tours and the option for AC and a choice of traditional or American breakfast was a nice touch. a fantastic experience!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

We stayed in a clean and quiet room located in the back courtyard, providing a peaceful atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering information on nearby attractions and arranging tours. The breakfast included coffee, pancakes, and a banana, and I was even able to get a second serving at no extra cost. The security measures, such as the locked gate and security cameras, made us feel safe during our stay.
The lack of a window in my room, but this actually helped to block out the noise from the busy street outside.
